How to Maximize iPhone Battery Performance

The battery in an iPhone is a lithium-based battery which is most common in consumer portable devices. A lithium-ion battery provides 300-500 discharge/charge cycles in its lifetime and the following tips are just a few ways to efficiently gain longer battery lifespans while extending overall battery life of your iPhone.

Apple iPhone battery cannot last long is the most common problem now day. Let me share with you how to maximize iPhone battery performance.

  • Avoid heat – do not leave your iPhone in a hot car or in direct sunlight
  • turning off Location Services
  • turning off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use
  • fetching new data less frequently
  • setting the brightness of your screen below 50%
  • turning of the EQ while listening to music
  • turning off 3G while not surfing the internet

All of these add up to better battery life. Enjoy and hope you iPhone battery really can last long.

    Hi guys,

    I am new here. I just got my new iphone 3gs, unlocked version.

    I spend my time learning how to use this new gadjet. Can anyone help me:

    1) how to set ring tone ( not the from the default list)

    2) Is there any chance for me to copy all the number from my simcard to iphone

    1) You will need iTunes to upload your choice of songs to be used as ring tones.

    2) Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Import SIM Contacts.

    You can also Google on specific tasks for guidance.
