Hi sun,

You may refer to my previous post on http://www.malaysiaiphone.com/blog/how-to-jailbreak-unlock-iphone-3g-3-0-firmware. Just put in mind that if you are downloading the firmware using iTune now, you will get firmware 3.0 instead of 2.2.1.

Thank you.

Hi Kid,

What kind of "problem" do you mean? Well, jailbreak is for you to install applications that iPhone not allow by default. It don't solve any problem.

hum, this sounds familiar to me. :)

Yes, looks like you need to do a restore then jailbreak again. Your SpringBoard crashed.

Start the restore process with this:
1) Power off your iPhone. (Press power + home button until it off, once it off, release your finger, else it will reboot, and you will get the loop again. Nice apple logo ha. :P)
2) Now your phone is still off. On your pc, on the iTune. Then press ur phone's home button, and connect the usb cable. Your phone will now boot into DTU mode.
3) iTune will prompt you that your iPhone need to be restore in order to work. Now you may follow my post on "Upgrade and Jailbreak/Unlock your iPhone 2G/3G", link is here: http://www.malaysiaiphone.com/blog/upgrade-and-jailbreakunlock-your-iphone-2g3g

That's all. Have fun.
